The best time to go on an Alaska cruise is during the summer months, from May to September. This is when the weather is milder and the scenery is at its most beautiful.

Alaska cruises can vary in length, ranging from 7 to 14 days. It depends on the specific itinerary and the cruise line.  Most cruises are 7 days, with land packages from 3-7 days making up the balance.

It's important to pack layers of clothing for an Alaska cruise, as the weather can change throughout the day. Also, don't forget to bring comfortable walking shoes, a waterproof jacket, and binoculars for wildlife spotting.

100%. Alaska is not a destination where winging it works out well. You didn't go this far to miss anything and options are limited. Book early, and expect to pay more than you would in the Caribbean or Europe.
